Zhen Ding Technology Holding Limited (Ticker: 4958), a global leading PCB manufacturer, today announced that its Board of Directors has approved the appointment of Dr. Chen-Fu Chien as the new General Manager. Dr. Chien brings profound industry experience and academic expertise, and has long focused on the semiconductor industry, smart manufacturing, as well as corporate planning strategy. In his new role, he will assist Zhen Ding in accelerating digital transformation and strengthening business developments with the semiconductor supply chain partners.

Prior to joining Zhen Ding as General Manager, Dr. Chien served as the Executive Vice President at National Tsing Hua University. Over the past five years, he has also been an independent director at Zhen Ding and a member of its Business Strategy Committee. Moreover, from 2005 to 2008, he pioneered the secondment of domestic scholars to TSMC, where he served as Deputy Director of the Industrial Engineering Division in Corporate Planning Organization. During his tenure, he has effectively developed big data analytics and decision analysis methodologies for organizational resource planning and smart manufacturing in TSMC.

Dr. Chien’s extensive experience in industry-academia collaboration within the semiconductor industry, combined with his expertise in smart manufacturing and corporate planning, will not only help Zhen Ding strengthen its connections with the semiconductor supply chain, but also accelerate the digital transformation of its global production facilities, enhancing overall operational efficiency and driving the PCB industry toward higher value-added development.
