Zhen Ding has been dedicated to environmental issues, consistently implementing climate governance and operational carbon reduction, showcasing its commitment and determination in carbon reduction and environmental protection. Recently, it was honored by CommonWealth Magazine as one of the companies meeting the goal of the Paris Agreement to limit global warming to 1.5°C.

CommonWealth Magazine, in collaboration with Tunghai University, developed the Temperature Rising Index for Pathways (TRIPs) platform. This platform uses the global warming scenarios published by the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) to inventory the carbon reduction targets of Taiwanese companies. It is the only platform in Taiwan that aligns with the Paris Agreement. The platform recently announced the list of companies meeting the 1.5°C climate control target. Currently, nearly a thousand companies have disclosed their information, but only 20% meet the 1.5°C target of the Paris Agreement, with Zhen Ding being one of them.

Based on the initiative to control global warming to 1.5°C, Zhen Ding has formulated climate change management strategies and green development goals in alignment with local government requirements and the group’s sustainable development strategies. The company actively carries out various greenhouse gas reduction activities, referencing methods like the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) to evaluate diverse emission reduction scenarios and integrating the achievement of 100% renewable energy to reach the goal of net-zero emissions by 2050.
